Meet the Human

I’m not as cute as the Drunken Dog, but hey, who cares. My real name is Niki Doyle, and I have more hobbies than any sane person should have.

I spend my days working as the assistant managing editor of digital content for The Huntsville Times director of digital operations for the Alabama Media Group*, and my nights baking both human and dog treats, playing tennis, designing websites or entertaining the Drunken Dog. (He can be quite the demanding critter.)

* In October, The Huntsville Times, The Birmingham News, the Press-Register, The Mississippi Press, AL.com and GulfLive.com combined into the Alabama Media Group. While I’m thrilled to have such an important role in this new digital media company, it’s unfortunately consuming too much of my time to continue treat-baking at this time. I hope to pick up Drunken Dog again soon, but in the meantime, I’m having to take a break. Thank you for all your support!
